Life Arts Building

Built in 1909, the building was designed by architect Arthur Benton to evoke an early Italian Renaissance style palazzo. The YMCA occupied the building until 1968.

      03/02/12- 03/01/13	Children’s Drumming Life Arts Building Children’s Drumming Presented by Body Temple at Life Arts Building March 2, 2012-March 1, 2013 Kids are guided through a drumming experience, learning hand drum technique and playing rhythm-based games on a variety of percussion instruments. All instruments are provided.
      03/02/12- 03/01/13	Playing with Rhythm: Parents and Tots Life Arts Building Playing with Rhythm: Parents and Tots Presented by Body Temple at Life Arts Building March 2, 2012-March 1, 2013 Parents come with their infants and toddlers and co-create their rhythm experience through participating in movement, rhythmic games, and song. Instruments are provided.
