About the artist: CONDOR (David & Teresa Doolittle) have performed their "Musical Tour of the Americas" for 23 years in schools throughout California & Nevada. Beginning in 2005 they will also be giving "Instrument Building" workshops to students.

CONDOR also performs regularly for corporate parties and events held throughout the greater Palm Springs area and for 10 years were featured performers for the "Southwestern Dinner" events held at the Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage.

David Doolittle is a native Californian. He has been playing guitar since he was nine years old and has performed guitar professionally in classical, flamenco, and Latin styles for over thirty years. David can also play keyboard, Paraguayan harp, Kiowa flute, Andean charango, and the Australian didgeridoo. He composes and records his albums in his personal studio. Besides music, David’s hobbies include: woodworking, drawing, and getting to know his animal friends, both wild and domestic.

Teresa Doolittle was born and raised in Uruguay, South America. As a child she studied piano and accordion. Her favorite school subject was Spanish literature. She came to the United States as a young adult and met David in Los Angeles. David and Teresa married in 1972. Teresa collects and repairs musical instruments from Central and South America. She often uses her story telling skills to relate personal anecdotes from her life in Uruguay which students and teachers alike find stimulating and inspiring. Teresa’s hobbies include: writing poetry, painting, cooking, and working with David to care for injured or abandoned wild animals.
