About the artist: I am a painter and a poet. For many years I have painted in acrylics and I am now ready to begin using oils. I have been painting and writing poetry for nearly 30 years. I enjoy painting figures, and I am a self disclosing artist. A teacher once compared me to Mary Cassat however; I do not see it myself. I don’t paint for profit, although I would like to. I truly enjoy the texture, smell and the act of painting. I will be graduating this quarter with my BA in psychology. I would like to become a Clinical Psychologist when I grow up.
