Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens

The Dream of two art collectors Edward Eberle and Dean Stout came true in 1958 when they opened the Edward-Dean Museum in Cherry Valley. Their appreciation for Western European museums and gardens inspired them to create a museum that promotes tranquility and beauty. The museum's collection is primarily 16th through 19th century Asian and European fine arts including furniture, ceramics, glass, textiles, sculptures, and many small collections such as miniature paintings, fans and pocket watches. The collection is uniquely displayed to appear that you are in a private residence. This distinctive approach is just one of the many interesting angles that the museum and campus comprises.
