Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre

Located in the foothills of Hemet, the Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre has served our community since 1923. It is the home to "Ramona," America's longest running outdoor play, and designated as the State of California's Official Outdoor Play. In addition to productions of "Ramona" every spring, the Bowl offers ambitious outdoor concerts, musicals, courtyard dinner theatre presentations, and in partnership with Mt. San Jacinto College, a Shakespeare festival every September. Other entertainment includes "Concerts Under the Stars" sponsored every July by the Ramona Bowl Music Assn. The Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre is also the location for an annual Easter Sunrise Service sponsored by Kiwanis as well as graduations, weddings and events hosted by the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce. The 2008 theatrical season marks the 85th year of continuous operation. The ourdoor play "Ramona" is well known for the inclusion of some 400 local residents as part of the huge cast.
