Hemet Area Museum Association

The Hemet Area Museum Association (HAMA) meets on the second Monday of each month, except for August at the library of the Diamond Valley Middle School on Chambers Street, just two blocks south of Stetson Avenue and one-half block west of State Street in Hemet. Meeting programs are announced in the local newspapers as well as the Museum's website. HAMA operates the Hemet Museum wihich is a privately-funded museum located in the historic Santa Fe Depot at the corner of State Street and Florida Avenue in downtown Hemet. The Museum is open to the public daily, except for August of each year,from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Donations for admission are appreciated. Whether you are a local resident or an out-of-towner, your visit to the Hemet Museum will give you, your family, and guests a fascinating look into the history of Hemet and the San Jacinto Valley.
