Fringe Fest part of Fanning the Creative Flame

Produced by the Riverside Arts Council and Riverside Downtown Partnership, the Fringe Festival presents live theatre in an informal, accessible and inexpensive environment even as it strives to break down traditional boundaries between audience and artist. This exciting event, the only one of its kind in Southern California, encourages open dialogue between theatre-goers and theatre-creators. In this year's Fringe Festival, budding playwrights, producers and actors will take the art of the play to the heart of the city, using the steps of the Metropolitan Museum, the Riverside Public Library, the Unitarian Church, and the Riverside Art Museum as both stage and backdrop. This years performers include; WHIPBOY, Marlowe's Shadowe, Riverside Youth Theatre, Belles of Bedlam, Playwrights Circle, Murrieta Repertory Theatre, and On the Spot. 11:00 p.m. WHIPBOY, Marlowe's Shadowe, Murrietta Repertory Theatre 11:45 p.m. Riverside Youth Theatre, Belles of Bedlam, On the Spot 12:30 p.m. Marlowe's Shadowe, Playwrights Circle 1:15 p.m. Riverside Youth Theatre, Belles of Bedlam, Murrietta Repertory Theatre 2:00 p.m. WHIPBOY, Playwrights Circle, On the Spot 2:45 p.m. Riverside Youth Theatre, Murrietta Repertory Theatre 3:30 p.m. Marlowe's Shadowe, 4:15 p.m. WHIPBOY, Belles of Bedlam, On the Spot The Fringe Festival is part of the Fanning the Creative Flame, a celebration of arts, culture and heritage in Downtown Riverside beginning October 27th and ending on November 5th.
