ERETAI: John Beech, Lael Marshall, David Rabinowitch, Michael Voss (January 12 – March 28) Reception includes Artist Panel Q & A
 

ERETAI – meaning “rowers” in ancient Greek – comprises the work of four N.Y.- based contemporary artists. The title suggests a resolve to forge new paths within the ever-evolving contexts of contemporary abstract painting and sculpture. Curated by Kathryn Poindexter,
ERETAI occupies both ground floor galleries with its eclectic mix of Minimalist- and Post-Modernist-inspired sculpture, paintings, and drawings. Hailing from Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom, as well as the United States, all four artists present works that emphasize form, space, and intuitive process.
 

IN PRINT: Five Centuries of Prints and Multiples (January 5 – March 26) Reception includes Curatorial Talk and Reading
 

N.Y.- based Curator, Margaret Mathews-Berenson, presents the last of her tri-fold series of exhibitions from the RAM Permanent Collection. In Print highlights works united by a diverse artistic medium: the Print. From 16th century engravings by Daniel Hopfer to 19th century Will Bradley lithographs and contemporary sculptural pieces by Brian Eno and Yinka Shonibare, In Print offers a sweeping glance at a rich and amorphous scope of art-making.
 

In Print also presents the fruits of a collaborative internship project with students from local universities to produce an on-demand companion book.
