Pierce Street Jazz features L.A. saxophonist Webb

Los Angeles jazz saxophonist Doug Webb is featured on recordings for myriad artists including Stanley Clark, Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Queen Latifah and Freddie Hubbard. He has recorded music for movies and television shows including solos on soundtracks for Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino.

On April 20, the Doug Webb Quartet will perform for La Sierra University’s Pierce Street Jazz series. Webb’s quartet includes Joe Bagg on piano, Ramon Banda on drums and Henry “the Skipper” Franklin on bass.
