Please join us at the Riverside Art Museum for the opening reception of three larger-than-life exhibits that feature a diversity of cultural backgrounds and artistic approaches from across Southern California.

Marco Casentini: All Around

Exhibition: August 14, 2010-November 6, 2010

This exhibition features recent work from Italian painter Marco Casentini. Now a resident of Hermosa Beach, Casentini hails from La Spezia, Italy, where a complementary exhibit of the artist is being held at the Centro Arte Moderne e Contemporanea.

Casentini's exhibit at RAM is monumental, featuring large canvases as well as a huge 15-foot high wall mural installation that stretches the entire length of RAM's Art Alliance gallery.

Adelante Siempre!: Recent Work by Southern California Chicana Photographers

Exhibition: September 11, 2010-November 6, 2010

Adelante Siempre translates as "always moving forward" and features Diane Arellano, Laura Aguilar, and Jacalyn Lopez-Garcia, curated by University of Redlands Professor Ann Marie Leimer.

The work reveals both formal and theoretical approaches to their chosen medium, including a conceptual work by Lopez-Garcia's dog Goldie conducted on Facebook.

Alan Disparte: InterNatural

Exhibition: September 11, 2010-December 2, 2010

Alan Disparte comes from a long family line of farmers and was raised in the rural area of Redlands, California. InterNatural features painting and video installations inspired by the coexistence and conflicts which occur when nature and culture intersect.
