Enjoy the hit songs of Jazz legend Louis Jordan in this Tony-Award winning musical with favorites like “Let the Good Times Roll”, “Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby,” “Choo Choo Ch’Boogie”, “Caldonia” and of course “Five Guys Named Moe.” “Five Guys Named Moe” His woman left him, he’s broke, and it’s almost five o’clock in the mornin’. But don’t be worryin’ ’bout our hero Nomax. Out of his 30’s style radio pop five guys named Moe who cajole, wheedle, comfort and jazz him with the whimsical hit songs of Louis Jordan, one of the most beloved song writing talents of the twentieth century. With more than fifty top ten singles on the rhythm and blues charts, this great composer and saxophonist brought a popular new slant to jazz and paved the way for the rock and roll of the 1950?S.

    Five Guys named Moe is a must see production by Center Stage Theater in Fontana. A lively, feel good show revolving around a guy on the path of self destruction who is helped by five “Moes” in a kickin’ performance that’s guaranteed to get you out of your seat and dancing with the crew. Enjoy the well choreographed adventure with fluid movements. The delightful cast and talented live jazz band received a well deserved standing ovation as the truly hilarious and fun skit carried an important message about life. Collapse

    Treat yourself to the Inland Empire's Hidden Gem, Tibbies Center Stage in Fontana. Built in 1937 by one of the best known architects of that time, the theater has recently been renovated and technically upgraded to the tune of 6.5 million dollars. The result is the most elegant and delightful dinner theater anywhere in Southern California. The food is absolutely scrumptious. My Date easily cut his steak with a butter knife. I enjoyed the vegetarian penne pasta, with a savory marinara sauce. The molten chocolate cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream was out of this world. The entertainment venue chosen by Tibbies Center Stage in Fontana is both witty and captivating. Do yourself a favor, purchase tickets for the next show at Tibbies. You will be glad you did. Collapse
