La Sierra Symphony to play masters' works

La Sierra Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Daniel Cummings, will play compositions by Ernest Bloch and Franz Schubert. Cellist Selena Xu will solo in Bloch’s “Schelomo, Hebraic Rhapsody for Cello and Orchestra.” The orchestra will also perform Schubert’s “Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major, D. 485.”
