This play is a fascinating exploration of the issues of artistic inspiration, history and censorship. Spanning 193 years and based on real events, the play in four parts traces the history of the sociopolitical response to Francisco Goya's masterpiece "Naked Maja" from the time of its creation in 1798 Spain to America and the recent legal case involving the work.
