Now Touring Southern California! Children of all ages delight in Hans Christian Anderson’s story as it comes to life in Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Little Mermaid. Critics called this enchanting ballet “…visually stunning…an underwater Lion King,” where “…puppetry and dancing combine to create a magical ocean world.” This spectacular landmark production is part of Inland Pacific Ballet’s children’s series featuring original ballets adapted from adventure filled stories. Magnificent sets include a live shipwreck, and the production is accompanied by a sweeping sound collage of music by classical composers Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Benjamin Britten, Antonin Dvorak and Ralph Vaughan Williams. Innovative aerial technology has under-the-sea creatures spinning and swirling on the stage, and a surprise ending awaits you.
