The Corona Art Association will host their Holiday Theme Show, "A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS". This is an open show to members and non-members. Work MUST depict your interpretation of the holidays, photos, colors, glitz, winter scenes etc. Work not meeting theme rules will be rejected. Entry to show is Wed. Nov. 4th., 1:00-6:30 p.m. at the ART HOUSE GALLERY, 510 W. Foothill Parkway, Corona Heritage Park Museum, (one block W. of Main St.) ENTER: You may enter two & three dimensional original art. ENTRY FEE: $7 per entry for members of CAA, $10 per piece for non-members. Yearly dues: $24. LIMITS: Up to three paid entries per person, limited to 40" Wide by 54" Tall. Entries over specified dimensions will be rejected. RULES: Original work only, completed within the last THREE years, No copies of other artists work or gicless (reproductions). If painting on wrap around canvas ALL sides must be painted, no staples or nails showing. Paintings must be DRY, not tacky to the touch, wired with screw eyes and wire, attached no more than one quarter of height of frame, wired very taut, to prevent picture falling forward on our hanging system. NO sawtooth hangers, NO standup frames. Best of Show or 1st. place in and previous Holiday Theme show is not eligible. You may enter work in Non- Theme category. SHOW OPENS, Thursday, Nov. 12th. 10-2p.m. Gallery hours: Thurs.-Sat. 10 am.-2 p.m. and continues to Sat. Jan. 9, 2010. Gallery phone: 951-735-3226. Holiday Party and Awards Reception: Saturday Dec. 5th., 5:30-8:30 p.m. Gift certificates and ribbons to winning artists. Members encouraged to bring items for refreshment table. Take part in many opportunity drawings. TAKE DOWN: Wed. Jan. 13th. 1:00-6:30 p.m. There will be a $5 per piece fee assessed for each work of art not picked up on that date. SALES: Corona Art Association retains 20% of the sales price, artist to receive 80%. If NOT FOR SALE, each item must be marked NFS.
