The Corona Art Association presents their annual DOMINICK FRASCELLA ART SHOW. This is an OPEN Show, named in memory of one of the founding members of the association. ENTRY to the show is Wed. Sept. 30th., 1:00-6:30 p.m. at the ART HOUSE GALLERY, 510 W. Foothill Parkway, (one block W. of Main St.) at Corona Heritage Park Museum. ENTRY: You may enter two and three-dimensional ORIGINAL art. ENTRY FEES: $7 per entry for CAA members, $10 per entry for non-members. Yearly dues is $24. LIMITS: THREE paid entries per person, limited to 40" wide by 54" tall, including frame, NO exceptions. RULES: Original work only, completed within the last THREE years. No copies of other artists' work, no giclees (prints). If painting on wrap around canvas ALL sides must be painted, no staples showing on front or sides. Paintings must be DRY, not wet or tacky to the touch, wired with screw eyes, wire must be taut and hung approx. 1/4 down back of painting, to hang correctly on our system. NO sawtooth hangers, NO stand-up frames, NO exceptions. Art which has won BEST OF SHOW or First Place in any previous CAA event may NOT be entered in competition show, but may hang in theme shows and be older than three years. JUROR: Rich Stergulz, renowned Murrieta/Fallbrook artist. See his work at www.sturgulzart.com. SHOW DATES: Opens, Thursday Oct. 8th. and continues through Wed. Nov. 4th. Gallery hours: Thur.-Sat. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Gallery phone: 951-735-3226. RECEPTION: Saturday Oct. 10th. 5:30-7:30 at which time awards are presented to artists. Members and guests are encouraged to bring items for the refreshment table. We will also have opportunity drawings for merchandise and gift certificates. AWARDS: BEST OF SHOW, First, Second, Third Place receive money and ribbons. Honorable Mentions & Popular Choice, ribbons only. TAKE DOWN: Wed. Nov. 4th., 1:00-6:30 p.m. There will be a FIVE dollar fee assessed for each work of art not picked up on that date. Entry to next show that day. It is a Holiday theme show, titled "These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things". SALES: Corona Art Association retains 20% of the sale price, artist receives 80%. Foothill Parkway (one block W. of Main St.) You may view the show until Oct. 31st. If you have never been to the Art House you will be in for a treat! Rich Stergulz, Murrieta artist was the juror.
