Family Fun Day, Star Light! Star Bright!

If you like to look at stars and constellations, come to the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, August 29 for a “Star Light! Star Bright!” family fun day. Imagine traveling into space when you enter the StarLab inflatable planetarium. Find out more about the stars that you see while you look at constellations, and listen to star stories from around the world. StarLab show times are 11:00 and 11:45am, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2:45, and 3:30pm. The thirty-minute shows are free with paid museum admission, but seating is limited. StarLab timed passes will be available at the Museum’s front desk starting at 10:00 a.m. This show is most suitable for children over 5 years old. The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $8 (adult), $6 (senior or military), $5 (student), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12). Children under five and Museum Association members are admitted free. The Exploration Station, a live animal gallery will also be open from 1:00–4:00pm. Parking is free.
