Southwest Women’s Chorus Auditions – January 13 and 20 The Southwest Women’s Chorus is looking for more women who can carry a tune, enjoy choral music, have choral blending voices, and are willing to dedicate their time and effort to a quality group. Reading music, although desirable, is not required. The chorus was founded in 2000 to provide a place for women who are sincere in their desire to experience the art of quality choral singing in the nurturing environment of a women’s group and who are willing to work for it. The Spring concert this year will be “From Dames to Divas” – exploring the growth of women throughout the ages. Our recent Christmas concert was sold out – this is a successful, vibrant group. The chorus meets on Tuesdays in Temecula from 7-9:45 PM, starting January 27. Membership is by a simple audition with no preparation required. Auditions will take place on January 13 and 20, from 7-9 PM, at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater upstairs rehearsal room. Please visit us at SouthwestWomensChorus.org and call Joan Thacker at (951) 926-4100 to reserve an audition time slot. To reach the theater, take Rancho California to Old Town Front Street. Continue into Old Town to Fourth Street, turn right, and park behind the theater. Go up the stairs in back.
