Jim Salchak to Demo at Corona Art Association General Meeting

Corona Art Association will host watercolor artist Jim Salchak who will present a lecture about watercolor artist JOHN SINGER SARGENT. Meeting is in the ART HOUSE GALLERY, 510 W. Foothill Parkway, Corona Heritage Park Museum. Join us at 7 p.m. for Mr. Salchak's presentation. It will be illustrated with approximately 80 slides and will overview Sargent's career and focus on his watercolors painted between 1900-1922. Mr. Salchak's objective in the lecture is to share his pleasure in Sargent's light filled watercolors and to describe his painting techniques. The presentation time is approximately one hour and ten minutes. Jim Salchak has been captivated by the medium of watercolor for over thirty years. His work has been shown in the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Jim is a signagegture member and past president of both the National Watercolor Society & Watercolor West.
