The Corona Art Association presents its annual DOMINiCK FRASCELLA ART SHOW This is an OPEN show, named in memory for one of the founding members of the association. Entry to the show is Thursday, Oct. 16th, 1-6:30 p.m. at the ART HOUSE GALLERY, 510 W. Foothill Parkway (one block W. of Main St.) at Corona Heritage Park Museum. ENTER: You may enter two and three-dimensional original art. We are limited to table space for 3-D art so call ahead so we can arrange space. ENTRY FEE: $7 per entry for CAA members, fourth entry is FREE for members. $10 per entry for non-members. Yearly dues, $24. LIMITS: Three paid entries per person, limited to 40" wide by 54" tall. Entries over specified dimensions will be rejected. RULES: Original work only, completed within the last three years. No copies of other artist' work or giclees (reproductions). Framed or painted edges (wrap around canvas) on All sides with No staples or nails showing. Paintings must be DRY (not wet or tacky) wired with screw eyes for hanging. Wire must be hung high on back and very taut. If wire is loose the picture will fall forward on our system. No sawtooth hangers, and no stand up photo frames. No excep- tions! Art which has won BEST OF SHOW or First Place in any previous CAA event may Not be entered in competition shows, but may hang in rotating/ theme shows. JUROR: Award winning Fallbrook artist, Mary Tomaskevitch. PUBLIC VIEWING: Begins Thursday Oct. 23rd., and continues to Thursday Nov., 20th. Gallery hours: Thur-Sat. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Gallery phone: 951-735-2336. RECEPTION: Saturday Oct. 25th., 5:30-7:00 p.m. Awards are presented to wining artists. Members are encour- aged to bring items for the refreshment table. Participate in fun raffle events for gifts and merchant certificates. AWARDS: BEST OF SHOW, First, Second, Third Place (ribbon and money.) Three Honorable Mentions, & Popular Choice (ribbon only). Monetary awards determined by number of entries submitted. TAKE DOWN: Thursday Nov. 20th., 1-6:30 p.m. There will be a $5 per piece fee assessed for each work of art not picked up on take-down day. SALES: Corona Art Association retains 20% of the sale price, artist to receive 80%. In NOT FOR SALE, each item MUST be marked NFS.
