Monothon 14 Sessions: 8am – 1pm and 2:30pm-7:30pm Dates: July 18 , 19 AND 20, 2008 Artists and students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and join RAM for and excellent printmaking workshop leaded by Ron Pokrasso following the exhibition and auction of their prints. After filling out the form and bringing the enclose fee to the RAM. Artists receive a five-hour printing session (check the date and session time that best fit your needs to participate). Participants may sign-up to print back to back sessions from 8:00am-7:30 pm, however no press work is done during the lunch break (Back-to-back fee: $475.00). All participants will be limited to ten prints per session and all the materials and equipments are provided for artists. At the end of the workshop, the curatorial staff at the Riverside Art Museum will select one print each session per artist to be exhibited during the Monothon 14 exhibition and auction. All prints selected for the exhibition are the property of the museum and the prints that are not selected are the property of the artist. Scholarships are available for students, for more information contact Lee Tusman at the Curatorial office. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN EACH SESSION: Selected work will be included in the 1. Monothon 14 exhibition at the museum. Demonstrations given by our Master 2. Printer Ron Pokrasso on various printmaking techniques. 3. Three Takach etching presses. 4. Twelve participants per session. 5. Fully equipped individual work station. 6. Choice in variety and color of papers. 7. Printing with Oil-free, soy-based inks. 8. Three professional printers. 9. A special commemorative Monothon 14 t-shirt. FEES: $250.00 per session $225.00 for each additional session. $100 deposit, non-refundable, is required to reserve each session. Spaces will fill up fast! One print will be selected from each session you attend for the Monothon 14 exhibition and silent auction. Artist will keep all other prints from all sessions. Proceeds help fund future workshops, exhibits, and educational programs. EXHIBITION: July 26 – August 16, 2008 Reception: Friday, July 26, 5:30-8:30 pm Preview from 5:30-6:30 pm Silent Auction starts at 7:00 pm
