Albright, Haydn, Brahms piano recital

Concert pianist, La Sierra alumna and former La Sierra piano teacher Grace Chung will perform Albright’s “Sleepwalker’s Shuffle,” Haydn’s Piano Sonata in C Major and Brahms’ Sonate für Klavier Nr. 3 in f minor, Op. 5. Chung graduated from La Sierra University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Music degree in piano performance. She graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 2006 with a master’s in piano performance. Chung was the first place winner of La Sierra University’s Annual Concerto Competition in 2001 and performed Beethoven’s 1st Piano Concerto. Her prize-winning and competitive performances include the Adilia Alieva International Piano Competition in Gaillard, France, the Maria Callas Grand Prix in Athens, Greece and the Newport International Competition for Young Pianists in Newport, Wales.
