Gallery Walk in the Hall of Geological Wonders

On Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m., join Senior Curator of Geological Sciences Kathleen Springer, Curator of Paleontology Eric Scott and Curator of Geology Chris Sagebiel for a gallery walk through the Hall of Geological Wonders at the San Bernardino County Museum. This gallery walk is free with museum admission. The curators will guide visitors through the new, still-in-progress, three-story, 12,000 ft2 wing at the museum that will feature exhibit galleries about the geology, mineralogy, and paleontology of inland Southern California and the southwest. “This will be the first time visitors will be able to enter the building and have the curators discuss the exciting exhibits they have planned, including showing the scale models of exhibits,” said Springer. “The Hall of Geological Wonders will be a one-of-a kind experience for visitors, showcasing exhibits that interpret the forces of nature that have shaped our region with the fossil remains that exist today as a testament to a changing landscape and climate.”
