Cherryholmes Fire Vicitms Benefit Concert

The family band has only been playing for 5 years, but Cherryholmes has already earned a 2006 Grammy nomination and won the coveted International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Entertainer of the Year award in 2005. The birth of Cherryholmes came shortly after the death of the families' eldest daughter, when they decided to attend the Golden West Bluegrass Festival in Norco, California in 1999. Not knowing anything about the music industry initially, Cherryholmes has since gone on to earn a 2006 Grammy nomination and the 2005 IBMA Entertainer of the Year award. Their second album, "Cherryhomes II" debuted at the top of the billboard charts. Jere and Sandy Cherryhomes have taken on the task of home schooling four of their children who participate in the band in addition to managing and coordinating all aspects of Cherryholmes. Home schooling, long bus rides to new venues, and family jam sessions is what their life has transformed into, but through it all this family has come to be known as the tight-knit family of bluegrass.     Tickets: This is a free benefit concert in which donations of any amount are welcome. During the event a basket will be passed around the theater and donations will be accepted. Pre-Sale reserved seating is available for a $30.00 donation per ticket.
