Blankety-Blank Poetry Workshop

Join us for a fun, productive, poetry study and writing workshop! The Blankety Blank Poetry Workshop Series, conceived by Lee Tusman and Ruth Nolan, will offer participants the chance to read, examine, discuss and experience poetry from a new perspective every month, with lecture, discussion, and poetry writing activities designed to impassion and inspire even the most reluctant poets or aspiring poets! The Blankety Blank Poetry Workshop series will be offered on the “third Thursday” of each month, starting October 18th. Each session will focus on a different theme or “school and form of poetry,” along with poetry writing activities and workshop/critique session, to be constructively conducted among participants. You may attend the Blankety Blank Poetry Workshop series in or out of monthly sequence without losing continuity of instruction and participation. Instructor: Ruth Nolan, M.A., Poet and Associate Professor of English, College of the Desert.
