The 12 Girls Band is one of KVCR’s 2007 events. During the 13th century in China, the emperor was usually entertained by a band of 12 young women playing a variety of stringed instruments mainly including Chinese musical instruments such as the guzheng, dulcimer, pipa, erhu, zhudi, xiao, hulusi and duxianqin. The members of 12 Girls Band have come from famous artistic colleges and universities such as: Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory, Central University for Nationalities and PLA Art College. 12 Girls Band, can be described as a refreshing and innovative blend of East and West, pop and traditional.
