Roald Dahl's wickedly funny book about the friendship between a dream-blowing Friendly Giant and a little orphan named Sophie is wonderfully adapted for the stage by David Wood, the UK's "National Children's Dramatist" (Irving Wardle-The Times). Using humor, delighful nonsense language and puppets, the play follows the BFG and Sophie as they team up with the Queen to save the children of England from the child-eating giants, Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, Bonecruncher, Meatdripper, Childchewer and Gizzardgulper!
