Celebrating National Poetry and Library month, California Poet Laureate Al Young visits UCR Palm Desert on April 21 with readings from past and current works: Heaven, The Sound of Dreams Remembered, Coastal Nights and Inland Afternoons. He will also read from brand new works including some poetry from his new book Something About the Blues, to be released in October, 2007. The Gneiss Poetry Series is sponsoring Mr. Young's visit to Palm Desert.
