Shelly Saltman, former president of FOX Sports, and chief promoter of daredevil Evel Knievel's motorcycle jump over the Snake River Canyon in 1974, will read from his book "Fear No Evel-An Insider's Look at Hollywood." Mr. Saltman, whose successes include the worldwide promotion of the Muhammad Ali / Joe Frazier heavyweight championship boxing matches and creating the Andy Williams San Diego Golf Classic, is an internationally-acclaimed sports promotion expert and member of the UCR Palm Desert "Executives in Residence" organization.
