Kate Gale's Publishing Workshop

Add Review/CommentKate Gale is the founding editor and director of Red Hen Press, one of the most important small presses in Southern California. She has published four books of poetry, a novel, a bilingual children's book, and is a produced librettist and editor of three literary anthologies. She is the former president of PEN USA, president of the American Composer's Forum, Los Angeles, and a professor at CSU Dominguez Hills. This workshop will provide an overview of the publishing industry and a series of workshops designed to introduce attendees to the professional world of publishing, from small operations to large. She has offered this workshop at dozens of universities across the country.
