The Corona Art Association is hosting their March 13th open meeting at 7 pm in the ART HOUSE GALLERY at Corona Heritage Park, 510 W. Foothill Parkway, (one block W. of Main St.) After a brief business meeting member Jackie Lakely will demonstrate her vibrant, colorful techniques which she learned after a series of classes that opened the doors to unlimited creativity and inspiration. She will be presenting some of these techniques and will cover various methods of image transfer, collage ideas, and great ways to use acrylic paint, mediums and gels in artwork. Jackie graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a degree in art and history. She has participated in many juried exhibits and held several solo shows in the past 16 years.
