Chuck Close: A Portrait in Progress

Photographic realist Chuck Close, the creator of groundbreaking portraits, gets the up-close-and-personal treatment in this documentary. Close's artistic vision and method are discussed, as well as his "close call" recovery from a paralytic spinal blood clot that almost ended his career. Avant-garde composer Philip Glass provides the soundtrack. CC NR 57 min. We are located at 1499 N. State St, San Jacinto, CA 92583. Parking permits are available for $1 at various permit machines in the parking lots. The Gallery is located in the 1400 building, across from the cafeteria and Theater Dept. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. The gallery will also provide light refreshments. And, as always, your donations and feedback are appreciated.
