The Corona Art Association will host their annual Founders' Day Show, Feb. 24th, 2007 through March 24, 2007. This a call for all artists to display their work in our new Art House Gallery (one of a kind in the Inland Empire!) on the grounds of the Corona Heritage Park Museum, 510 W. Foothill Parkway (one block W. of Main St.) The association has recently painted and installed a new hanging system. The show honors several people that were instrumental in organizing the art association in 1960. It is the oldest non-profit organization in Corona. We invite artist to exhibit and compete for ribbons and cash awards, to promote art excellence in 2 & 3 dimensional visual arts. Judging the show is prominet Fallbrook, Ca. artist, Karen Langer Baker, who is returning for second time. You may submit three entries not to exceed 40X40 inches including frame on Feb. 23, 2007 from 1-6:30pm. Member fees, $5 per entry, non members, $10 per entry, yearly dues, $24. All work must be properly framed and hung with screw eyes and wire. Show committee may reject work if it does not follow show rules. An awards reception for artists will be Feb. 24, from 3-5:30pm. Public viewing begins at 11:30. Show hours during the week are Tues-Sat. 10am-2pm. For more information regarding entry to show call: Shirley Hammes, 951-737-0462
