Performance Riverside presents Elves and the Shoemaker at the Landis Performing Arts Center Performance Riverside opens its 2006/07 Family Series on December 10, 2006, with the California Theatre Center-produced The Elves and the Shoemaker. Based on the Grimm’s fairy tale, this charming holiday treat has been delighting children throughout the United States for over 15 years. Based in Sunnyvale, the California Theatre Center is recognized on the national and international theatre scene and was twice named by the American Theatre Association as the top professional theatre in the United States for young audiences. The Performance Riverside Family Series brings our youngest audience members three events; during the 2006-7 season; CTC’s The Elves and the Shoemaker, Letters from Harriet Tubman from the Orange County Performing Arts Center Arts Reach Program on February 24th, 2007, and Charlotte’s Web, from the Laguna Playhouse’s Theatreach Program, on May 5th, 2007. All three programs also have weekday morning performances available for school groups. The Elves and the Shoemaker will be performed on December 10, 2006 at 2pm.   Tickets: General admission tickets are $10 Reserve and Season tickets available. Children’s Series season tickets that include all three events start at $24. Special rates for school groups are available on December 11 and 12 at 9:30 and 11am. More information about Performance Riverside is available at www.performanceriverside.org.
