Community Theatre is pleased to present The Very Merry Christmas Special Friday, December 8th through Sunday, December 10th. This is a traditional style variety show, similar to the Carol Burnett Show or the Bob Hope Christmas Specials that were a staple on TV in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. With 20 different acts featuring amazing vocalists, the Hollee Hennebelle Dancers and hilarious comedy sketches; this is a great show for the entire family. CAT Community Theater has established a tradition in Corona over the past 3 years by presenting a wonderful, original Christmas musical, which won numerous Inland Theatre League awards. This year we decided to create something brand new for the community and came up with a show that begin the holiday season in the best possible way. From beautiful choral numbers like “Carol of the Bells” to the frolicking and fun, “Santa Baby”, the vocal music will delight you. Well-known CAT choreographer, Hollee Hennebelle has designed some of the most imaginative and difficult dances ever performed by CAT. Included are an all-male number to the Polar Express song, “Hot Chocolate” that will take your breath away and a haunting ballet to “Some Children” that will thrill your soul. Comedy will also play a big part in the Variety Show with the “Misadventures of Betty and Estelle” and an Elvis-style character singing “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” which will provide plenty of laughs for everyone. This "Very Merry Christmas Special" will be presented in 5 performances at the Historic Corona Civic Center Theater, 815 W. 6th St. in downtown Corona: Friday, December 8th at 8:00 Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 and 8:00 Sunday, December 10th at 2:00 and 6:30 Tickets are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for Students and Seniors CAT offers a family pack and group rates Call the Box Office for Tickets at (951) 279-2298 or visit the CAT office at 850 E.
