Fall Festival at Fairmount

Date: Saturday, October 21, 2006 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cost: FREE* *$3.00 per youth in children’s fun zone for unlimited play Locations: Fairmount Park (2601 Fairmount Blvd.) Leaves are turning beautiful colors, the air is getting brisk, and earlier in the day it gets dark; this is the perfect time for the Fall Festival at Fairmount Park! The Annual Harvest Festival is now the Fall Festival at Fairmount! Due to increased attendance at this popular event the annual festival is being expanded and moved to Fairmount Park, for a more spacious location! Join the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department at the newly improved Fairmount Park for a day full of fall fun. Your little princess or prince can paint or carve a pumpkin, parade around in their costume, climb a rock wall, have their face painted, trick-or-treat, and enjoy live entertainment. You don’t want to miss this festive event! The youth fun zone will feature; a giant inflatable obstacle course, rock wall, face painter, balloon artist, arts & crafts, and games all for $3.00 per youth for unlimited play. For questions or to participate as a volunteer, please contact the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department at 826-2000. Activities will include the following: o Arts & Crafts o Concessions o Costume Parade o Game Booths o Live Entertainment o Pumpkin Carving Contest o Roving Entertainment o Youth Fun Zone ($3.00 per youth, unlimited play) o Vendor Booths
