Ballet Folklorico de Riverside will be performing in Downtown Riverside at Division 9 gallery and the Metropolitan Museum on November 2, 2006 between 6-10 p.m. They will be performing Aztec dances wearing traditional costumes in celebration of Dia de Los Muertos, The Day of the Dead. Please join us for an evening in celebration of life, family, Mexican culture, art, dance, and music. The evening will begin with a procession down Mission Inn Avenue and a viewing of altars at the corner of Mission Inn Avenue and Lime Street in Downtown Riverside. Division 9 Gallery will be exhibiting art work as well as have live music, traditional food, and vendors. The Metropolitan Museum will be exhibiting art work and altars from a variety of artists. This is an event you will not want to miss!! The Day of the Dead celebration is part of Fanning the Creative Flame, a celebration of arts, culture and heritage in Downtown Riverside beginning October 27th ending on November 5th.
