Plein Air Artists of Riverside Paint Out Week part of "Fanning the Creative Flame" The Plein Air Artists of Riverside, in Affiliation with the Riverside Art Museum, invites you to its Second Annual Paint-Out Week coinciding with Riverside’s “Fanning the Creative Flame” festival October 28 to November 5, 2006 The Plein Air Artists of Riverside (PAAR) will help kick off Fanning the Creative Flame during PAAR's second annual Paint-Out Week beginning Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 to 4 pm. Sixty artists will fan their creative flames by recreating various scenes in the beautiful, historic areas south of Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside. On Sunday, Oct. 29, 9am to noon, artists will participate in the “Quick Draw” in the Library Park area, with a show and sale following at 1 pm in front of Riverside Art Museum. Artists will paint all week, and visitors can buy newly created work: Mon., Oct. 30, Martha McLean-Anza Narrows Park Tue., Oct. 31, Citrus Heritage Park Wed., Nov. 1, Jurupa Regional Park Thu., Nov. 2, Botanic Gardens Fri., Nov. 3, Fairmount Park Sat., Nov.4, Riverside Art Museum area Top Dog competition, artists will also paint on Mission Inn Avenue; Sun.,Nov. 5, From Mission Inn Avenue to the 60 and between Main and the 9 Each artist will display one piece of artwork in an exhibit at the Riverside Art Museum from Jan. 11 to Mar. 17, 2007.
