Dreamgirls

Dreamgirls is based loosely on the story of Diana Ross and "The Supremes" and the music of the 1960s and early 70s, Dreamgirls won six Tony Awards in 1982. It will be released in December as a major motion picture featuring Jamie Foxx, Beyonce' Knowles, Eddie Murphy, and American Idol's Jennifer Hudson. The Landis Performing Arts Center is located on the Riverside City College campus at 4800 Magnolia Avenue. Performances for Dreamgirls are on November 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 8 pm; November 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 2 pm. Tickets are $42, $36, $29 and $24, and discounted tickets for school and senior groups are available on November 9 and 17 at 10 am.
