Famed for weaving world-music sounds with traditional Japanese koto music, composer-player Yukiko Matsuyama won a Grammy with the Paul Winter Consort for their album Miho: Journey to the Mountain and shared the stage with Shakira at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards show.
