Zoë Keating, cello Zoë Keating, cello Presented by UC Riverside Presents April 27, 2012 Zoë Keating is a one-woman orchestra. With her cello, and a foot-controlled laptop to record sounds, she loops and layers musical phrases from her solo performance, improvising in live time. Using different bowing techniques and electronics, Keating’s unique brand of avant-garde cello, yields lush, beautiful multipart works that have earned her high ratings on both the classical and electronica music charts.
